PAAS opens a school in Seerana Kals, Azad Kashmir

PAAS’s new project is a primary school for the children of the Seerana Kals community. At present, the children walk to the nearest school in Union Council Rangla (1.5 hrs away) making it difficult for access. The PAAS Foundation School, is situated within the village itself and is walking distance to most families. This school will provide employment to women from the community by recruiting and training locals as teachers and staff. Beginning its operations as a primary level institution for children aged 4 to 6 years, the school will later add middle and senior sections in the future.
